Jay and the AgSyn Team

Meet our Team of Ag Professionals:

Jay Gearheard AgSyn

Jay Gearheard

Owner / Operator

Jay served in the USMC from 1999 to 2003, and one thing instilled in him from the Marine Corp is duty to ‘service of the greater good’ and that has guided his career.

He began his career in different roles while completing his degree in Accounting from Metropolitan State College of Denver. He worked for a logistics company and an office supply distributor, then entered the Ag business by working his way from warehouseman to salesman to location manager and relocating a few times in those roles.

Working for one of the largest Ag Retailers in the world, Jay recognized an opportunity to get back to that ‘service of the greater good’ – recognizing your employees and customers should be the primary focus – and so he broke out of large corporate Ag to start AgSyn.

Building this company with this team and customers is life fulfilling for Jay, who considers AgSyn one big family. As AgSyn grows, the customer and employee family grows, too.

Jay and his wife live in Colorado and have two children. Jay enjoys spending time with family, fishing, and playing bad golf when he has time.
